The "Service symbol" and the "Service message" will be turned off when all sensors
have been acknowledged.
28.3 Clear Weekly Average (H8/S3)
Valid only for 430x, 4400 and 4401 sensors in NORMAL mode.
If a sensor (analogue smoke detector) is replaced without having generated SERVICE
signal, its week average sensor value has to be cleared and set to the default value (i.e.
“1” = 0.1 %/m), otherwise the new / clean sensor will inherit the old sensor's value. It is
possible to clear the week average sensor value for each sensor individually via this menu.
Note: First, replace the sensor and then clear the week average value as soon as
possible. Authorised service personnel only, must do this. Using the function incorrectly
may cause nuisance fire alarms.
The first week average sensor value (after clearing) will be calculated within one hour, then
each week.
