• Another alarm algorithm can be used (e.g. during working hours).
• Alarm Delay Facility (ADF) for analogue smoke sensor / detector and sounder
bases combination can be used.
• Alarm verification Facility (AVF) can be used for convention zone inputs.
• Two-zone or two-unit dependent (co-incidence) fire alarm activation can be used.
• In an installation with addressable detectors / sensors (e.g. FT1020G3), the
affected detectors can be individually disabled (or whole zones) for temporary
work in the premises. Bear in mind that the smoke spreads, and consideration
must be taken to adjacent detectors / zones. Disablements can be done
automatically via a time channel (built-in or external) or via menu (H2/B1-B2).
Automatic re-enabling can be used. Zone disable card can also be used to
manually disable a zone of smoke detectors.
• If there are some alarm investigation procedures for the personnel on site, the alert
annunciation function can be used.
• Pre-warning can be used as an initial warning before a fire alarm is activated.
