Function customization according to the application
As the KTF/.. devices are used on several types of textile machines/applications,
and each one of these applications has specific characteristics and requirements, the
software of SMART KTF 2000 terminal can be configured by the user in such a
way that the menus will show only the functions relevant to the selected
application.
Each application already provides a default configuration defined by BTSR;
however, you can change such configuration, depending on your actual needs.

Specific Characteristics and Performances of SMART KTF 2000
Terminal
The SMART KTF 2000 system provides a set of unique features which make it a
true micro-computer dedicated to the control/programming activities and statistical
analysis of production.
The main advantages obtained when using the SMART KTF 2000 terminal
connected to KTF/.. devices are the following:
The identification of an impediment to the normal running of the yarns is
detected prior to cause a defect or size variation of the article produced;
The identification of lint in the yarn guides which could easily lead to the
yarn braking causing holes to form in the fabric and the subsequent
rejection of the article produced;
Prevention of breakages in the yarn and reduction of production waste;
Prevention of needles being broken as a consequence of the yarn breaking;
Full tension control and yarn feeding to the machine with possibility to
freely set the tolerance values (between the self-learned parameters and
those actually detected) depending on particular needs, on type of
manufacturing and on type of yarn used.
