General System Characteristics
SMART KTF 2000 is a monitoring/programming terminal, which allows
communicating in real time with all the KTF/.. devices (up to 200), installed onboard
of a textile machine.
Using the SMART KTF 2000 terminal you may create an article’s Database (up to a
maximum of 99 articles, depending on the amount of memory used) and to associate
to each article the tension control parameters for all the KTF/.. devices involved in
the manufacturing of the article itself.
The real time communications between SMART KTF 2000 terminal and KTF
devices allows performing several functions including:
Automatic Numbering of KTF/.. devices (BTSR patent);
Loading the tension control parameters to one or more KTF devices, without
the need to directly operate on each individual device;
Real time reading of Working Tension, Speed and Amount of Yarn Fed by
each device KTF100/HP, comparing them with the parameters detected
during the Learn phase;
Real time reading (and comparison by means of bar charts) of the amount of
yarn fed (LFA) by a given number of KTF devices (either 8, 12 or 16);
Test of KTF devices and of communication line between SMART KTF 2000
and KTF/.. devices;
Self-learning and automatic control of the amount of yarn fed by each
KTF/.. during a sample manufacturing cycle;
Setting the amount of yarn to be wound (Target) on bobbins of a rewinding
machine, with possibility to control in real time the quantity of yarn fed by
each KTF/RW device.
Automatic INCREMENT/DECREMENT of the yarn tension at
programmable intervals (KTF/RW only).
