Parameter → Protocol →Selectprotocol.
IfdevicesfeatureaPROFIBUSinterfaceandCC-Linkinterface,theeldbusprotocolhasbeen
presetatthefactory.
8.5.1 Setting the PROFIBUS address

The PROFIBUS address can be set on the display of the device or on the PC using the Bürkert Communi-
cator PC software.
The menu for setting the PROFIBUS address is located in the Parameter detailed view.
ChangetotheParameterdetailedview:
For the setting using the Bürkert Communicator in the navigation area, select Industrialcommunication.
To make the setting on the display, press the menu key
twice.
You are in the detailed view Parameter.
ThePROFIBUSaddresscanonlybesetwhentheeldbusprotocolPROFIBUS DPV1hasbeen
selected.IfdevicesfeatureaPROFIBUSinterface,theeldbusprotocolhasbeenpresetatthe
factory.
SettingthePROFIBUSaddress:
→ On the display select PROFIBUSaddress and input PROFIBUS address.
→ In the Bürkert Communicator select Protocolsettings → PROFIBUSaddress and input PROFIBUS
address.
→ Enter the address. Valid addresses: 0 to 126
If an address is set outside of the valid range, the device will display an error message.
You have set the PROFIBUS address to connect the device to the PLC network.
