8.5.4 Setting the Ethernet parameters for EtherNet/IP, PROFINET,
Modbus TCP
WithModbusTCPthesettingoftheEthernetparametersismandatory.
The EtherNet parameters can be set on the display of the device or on the PC using the Bürkert Communicator
PC software or the Webserver.
The menu for setting the EtherNet parameters is located in the Parameter detailed view.
ChangetotheParameterdetailedview:
For the setting using the Bürkert Communicator in the navigation area, select Industrialcommunication.
To make the setting on the display, press the menu key
twice.
You are in the detailed view Parameter.
TheEthernetparameterscanonlybesetwhenthecorrespondingeldbusprotocolhasbeen
selected.Parameter → Protocol →Selectprotocol.
SettingEthernetparameter:
→ On the display select IPsettings and input IP address.
→ In the Bürkert Communicator select Protocolsettings → Assistant or select Protocolsettings and
input the parameters:
• IPmode can be set for EtherNet/IP only. Setting in the menu IPsettings.
Pre-conguredatthefactory:StaticIPaddress.
• DNScompatiblename can be set for PROFINET only.
• StaticIPaddress Pre-conguredatthefactory: 192.168.0.100
• Networkmask Pre-conguredatthefactory: 255.255.255.0
• Defaultgateway Pre-conguredatthefactory: 192.168.0.1.
You have set the Ethernet parameters to connect the device to the PLC network.
