• Ex approval: the term “Ex approval” stands for approval in the potentially explosive atmosphere
• büS (Bürkert system bus): the term “büS” stands for the communication bus developed by Bürkert, based
on the CANopen protocol.

participantsandanindustrialEthernetPLC.
TheTypeME43supportstheeldbusprotocolsPROFIBUSDPV1,EtherCAT,PROFINET,EtherNet/IP,
ModbusTCP,CC-LinkaswellasDeviceNetandCANopen.
