2.2 Removing the Pickup Clutch
(multifeeder type)
1) Remove the front lower cover.
(See Chapter 7.III.A.2.“Removing the
Front Lower Cover.”)
2) Remove the registration roller unit.
(See E.1.“Removing the Registration
Roller Unit.”)
3) Open the machine’s top unit farther, and
hold it in place with the handle of a screw-
driver (about 30 mm in diameter).
4) Disconnect the two connectors [1], and
remove the two screws [2] then, detach
the solenoid unit [3].
