1.Positionthetraileronrmandlevelground.Putblocks
atthetiresoftrailertopreventtrailerfrommoving.
2.Removewireropes,chocks,blocksandotherdevices
usedtosecurethemachineduringroadtransport.
3.Preparetheloadingramps.Iftherampsareincluded
inthetrailerframe,lowerthemtotheground.Ifthe
rampsareexternaltothetrailer,matchthemtothe
rearedgeofthetraileravoidinganybumpbetween
trailerbedandexternalramps.
NOTICE:therampslopeshouldbe15°orless.
4.Removetheswinglockpin(ifequipped).Referto
page3-29.
5.Getonthemachineandstarttheengine.
6.Selectthelowtravelmode.
7.Raisethedozerbladeandoperatethearmand
bucketcontrolssothebottomofthebucketisabout
20cm(7.9in)abovethetrailerbed.
NOTICE:inthisposition,travelingandsteeringcon-
trolbecomeoppositetoeachother.
8.Travelslowlytowardsthebackofthetrailerandstop
asyoureachtheramps.Operatetheboomand
thearmsoftlyinordertogetthebucketclosetothe
groundaheadoftheramps.
NOTICE:duetohydraulicsystemcharacteristics,
whentravelingandmovingarmsimultaneouslyma-
chinemayslightlydeviatefromintendeddirection.
Payattentionwhentravellingonslope,loadingor
unloadingfromtruckortrailerorinotherconditions
withconnedlateralspace.
NOTICE:avoidfullyextendingthebucketcylinderto
preventdamagingitduetoaccidentalimpactswith
theground.
9.Movedownonrampswithextremecarewhileoper-
atingtheboomandthearmsoftlyinordertokeepthe
bucketclosetothegroundandsotograntmachine
stability.
10.Passthroughtherampscompletelyandstopthema-
chineonceitgetsontheground.
