Inthefollowingcases,drainagefromthefuelsystemis
requiredwhen:
•
Thetankhasbecomeemptycompletely.
•
Thefuellterisreplaced.
•
Thecomponentsofthefuelsystemareremovedfor
serviceorrepair.
•
Themachinehasbeenstoredforlongerthanone
month.
1.Locatethewaterseparator(2)andthefuellter(4)
insidetheenginecompartment.
2.Fillthefueltankwithsuitablefuel.
3.Openthevalve(1)locatedonthewaterseparator(2).
4.Loosentheairventplug(3)locatedonthewatersep-
arator(2).
5.Loosentheairventplug(5)locatedonthefuellter
(4).
6.Tightentheairventplugs(3)and(5)whenbubblesdo
notcomeupanymore.

7.Opentheairventcock(6)locatedontopofthefuel
injectionpump(7).
8.TurnthestarterswitchtotheONpositionandholditin
thepositionfor10–15stooperatethefuelinjection
pump(7).
9.Closetheairventcock(1)locatedonthewatersepa-
rator(2)afterairbleeding.
NOTE:alwayskeeptheairventcock(6)locatedonthe
fuelinjectionpump(7)closedexceptduringfuelsystem
bleeding,oritmaycausetheenginestop.
