TOP CAP - INSTALLATION
1. Apply a thin bead of silicone sealant to the seal-
ing flange of the new top cap assembly, 1, and
position it on the lower module assembly with the
breather facing to the right.

2. Apply silicone sealant to the end of the threads
of the top cap retaining bolts, install them, and
torque to 83 ft lbs (113 N⋅m).

3. It is necessary to time the cutter bar discs during
reassembly to eliminate interference between
the knives. The discs are properly timed when
they are 90° apart, as shown. The disc hub and
top cap shaft splines are randomly cut, with no in-
dex marks.
