5. CHROMATE MANAGER
5.1 Opening ChroMate Manager
ChroMate™ uses the standard Windows
®
controls, windows, and dialogs. Refer to your
Windows
®
documentation to become familiar with these controls and how to use them.
Ensure that the 4300 ChroMate instrument is connected via USB cable to the computer
(see Section 3.3 Instrument Setup & Software Installation).
 Power on the computer.
 Power on the ChroMate instrument and wait for the initialization to complete.
 Double-click on the ChroMate icon to open the ChroMate Manager software.
NOTE: It is not necessary to turn the instrument off when restarting the software.
