VEHICLE EMISSION CONTROL INFORMATION
LABEL
All models have a Vehicle Control Information
(VECI) Label. Chrysler permanently attaches the la-
bel to lower right corner of the hood (Fig. 1). It can-
not be removed without defacing information and
destroying the label.
The label contains the vehicle’s emission specifica-
tions and vacuum hose routings. All hoses must be
connected and routed according to the label.
If any difference exists between the label and the
Service Manual, refer to the label. The labels
shown are examples.
VACUUM SCHEMATIC
If any difference exists between the diagram on the
vehicle emission control information (VECI) label
and the schematics in the Service Manual, refer to
the label.
