Chapter 8 Interface Configuration
IP Configuration
Viewing the IP Configuration Window
To view the IP Configuration window, proceed as follows:
Step 1 Right-click a selected IP line card or IP interface, then choose Cisco 12000/10720 Manager>
Configuration>IP>Configuration. The IP Configuration window appears, with the Generic Parameters
tab displayed.

Step 2
Choose a Chassis, Module, and IP Interface from the lists displayed at the left of the window.
Configuring an IP Interface
To configure an IP Interface, follow these steps:
Step 1 Open the IP Interface Configuration window. See “Viewing the IP Configuration Window” section on
page 8-14 for further details.
Step 2 Choose a Chassis, Module, and IP Interface from the lists displayed at the left of the window.
Step 3 Configure the parameters displayed in the Generic Parameters tab, as required. See “IP Configuration
Window—Detailed Description” section on page 8-15 for further details.
