Receiving the Cisco ASR 1000 Series Router
Never touch uninsulated telephone wires or terminals unless the telephone line has been
disconnected at the network interface.
Use caution when installing or modifying telephone lines.
Warning
Do not work on the system or connect or disconnect cables during periods of lightning activity.

Each Cisco ASR 1000 Series chassis is shipped in a container that is strapped to a pallet as illustrated in
Figure 5-3.
