Connecting Power to the Cisco ASR 1002-F Router
The DC power supply for the Cisco ASR 1006, Cisco ASR 1004, Cisco ASR 1002, and Cisco
ASR 1002-F routers operate at individual specifications. Table 9-7 shows the common input ranges and
circuit breaker requirements.
Note All Cisco ASR 1000 Series Router AC power supplies must be connected to a branch circuit that does
not exceed 20 A.
Read the safety warnings before you begin.
Warning Never install an AC power module and a DC power module in the same chassis. Statement 1050
Warning Installation of the equipment must comply with local and national electrical codes. Statement 1074
Warning This equipment must be grounded. Never defeat the ground conductor or operate the equipment in the
absence of a suitably installed ground conductor. Contact the appropriate electrical inspection
