To display the status of a new image being downloaded to a switch with the HTTP or the TFTP protocol,
use the show archive status command in privileged EXEC mode.
show archive status [ |{begin | exclude | include} expression]

Usage Guidelines If you use the archive download-sw privileged EXEC command to download an image to a TFTP server,
the output of the show archive status command shows the status of the download.
Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output
are not displayed, but the lines that contain Output are displayed.
Examples These are examples of output from the show archive status command:
Switch# show archive status
IDLE: No upgrade in progress
Switch# show archive status
LOADING: Upgrade in progress
Switch# show archive status
EXTRACT: Extracting the image
Switch# show archive status
VERIFY: Verifying software
Switch# show archive status
RELOAD: Upgrade completed. Reload pending
