Command History
Usage Guidelines A cause (all, link-flap, and so forth) is the reason why the error-disabled state occurred. When a cause
is detected on an interface, the interface is placed in an error-disabled state, an operational state that is
similar to a link-down state.
all Enables error detection for all error-disable causes.
gbic-invalid Enables error detection for an invalid Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC)
module.
Note This error refers to an invalid small form-factor pluggable (SFP) module.
link-flap Enables error detection for link-state flapping.
loopback Enables error detection for detected loopbacks.
pagp-flap Enables error detection for the Port Aggregation Protocol (PAgP) flap
error-disabled cause.
ppoe-ia-rate-limit Enables error detection for Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (ppoe) rate
limit.
security-violation Enables error detection for security violations.
sfp-config-misma
tch
Enables error detection on SFP configuration mismatch.
