To configure a VLAN as a user network interface (UNI) community or isolated VLAN, use the uni-vlan
command in VLAN configuration mode. UNIs on a switch that are assigned to a community VLAN can
exchange packets with one another.
uni-vlan {community | isolated}
no uni-vlan
Note This command has no effect on the switch. All ports on the switch are network node interfaces (NNIs),
which can always exchange packets with one another.
Syntax Description
Defaults The default VLAN configuration is UNI-ENI isolated VLAN.
