The 4216 is a 1RU x 19" interface unit, developed to enable Custom Control Panels to be used with the
4000 Matrices. Connection to Custom Control Panels is via serial links and panels must be fitted with a
variant of the PDE 3531 Custom Panel PCB to make use of this facility.
