The 600 series of diagnostic error codes identifies failures with diskette, diskette drive, or
system board functions.

1. Replace the diskette and retest.
2. Check and/or replace the diskette power and
signal cables and retest.
3. Replace the diskette drive and retest.
4. Replace the system board and retest.

The 1100 series of diagnostic error codes identifies failures with serial/parallel interface board
or system board functions.
