8 Commissioning
8.1 Commissioning requirements
8.1.1 Prerequisites for commissioning
CAUTION!
The person responsible for conducting the commissioning must be certified by
Consilium.
NOTE!
If nothing else is agreed, no commissioning engineer will be sent before the
pre-commissioning are finalised.
The information documented during commissioning shall include:
•
Documentation of commissioning activities.
•
Verification of all applicable system functions.
•
Failure reporting and assessment tasks.
•
Action taken to resolve failures and incompatibilities.
(Do not leave any unsolved faults in the control panel fault list.)
•
Details of any limitations or constraints on the use of the system.
Make sure the following prerequisites are fulfilled:
•
Laptop running Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8.
•
Approved USB memory stick (available from an authorised dealer).
•
Multimeter.
•
ESD protection.
8.1.2 Proof test
All safety related functions and not safety related functions shall be proof tested
during the commissioning and scheduled maintenance. This includes, but is not
limited to, the following parts (if installed):
•
All fire detectors
•
All manual call points.
•
All used inputs on the loop units CS-IC10, CS-IC22 and CS-PYH.
•
All used outputs on loop unit CS-IC22.
•
The common fire relay output on module CS-Safety M.
•
The common fault relay output on module CS-Safety M.
•
External protocols (if used)
