8.5.10 How to report a fault
In case it is not possible to troubleshoot and solve a specific problem, please
contact Consilium or one of Consilium's authorized service offices by following
this checklist:
Describe the fault symptom, be specific.
Describe how the fault situation can be generated.
Attach a system log file.
(Instructions for download from the a Control M 2.2 can be found in section
Save the System Log to a USB Memory Stick, page 58).
Attach a BIST log file.
(Instructions for download from the a Control M 2.2 can be found in section
Save the BIST Log to a USB Memory Stick, page 59).

8.6 Configuration Setup for Control Panel CM2.2
8.6.1 Configuration Overview
The CM 2.2 comes with configuration files pre downloaded in the memory.
Different configuration files can be chosen in the service menu of the system, if the
system is intended to be used in different types of cars for the same project or train
platform. See project description if this is applicable; otherwise the correct
configuration file for the installation is already active when delivered.
Follow the instructions below to choose configuration.
8.6.2 Choose Configuration
1 Press the key to enter the menu system.
Select 4 Login.
2 Enter access level 3.
1. Use the arrow keys and to scroll
and select the digits.
2. Go to next with key.
The display shall show “LOGIN
SUCCEEDED”.

3 Go to 6 Service Menu » 4 Configuration » 3
Select config.
Choose configuration file to be loaded
according to correct reference.
The system will reboot and load the
configuration file.
