Single Element Probes and Protective Membranes
All Cygnus single element probes have a soft face and are
therefore fitted with a Polyurethane Membrane which provides
better contact on rough surfaces and protects the probe face from
wear, prolonging the life of the probe.
Check the membrane regularly as it is important the membrane is
changed as soon as it shows any signs of wear.
