Login as the administrator, go to the share manage interface click add button, you can see an
interface is shown as in Figure 3-49. It is an interface for you to add share directory.
Please note you can only select one item from the SAMBA/NFS/FTP.
Please refer to the following sheet for detailed information.
System administrator can select a logic volume
from the user menu list.
It is the share directory name you created on the
logic volume.
It is to input description information of current
directory (optional).
Only the selected user can access the share
directory. If there is no valid user, all users can
access the share directory.
The user IP address or subnet mask that can
access the share directory. The IP address can be
a valid IP address or a valid IP segment.
If there is valid IP, only user of valid IP (such as
10.6.5.77) can access NFS share. The user
right is read/write.
If there is valid IP section, only Linux users of
the valid IP section (such as 10.6.0.0—
10.6.255.255) can access NFS share directory
and the right is read/write.
Note
16 and 32 are just two ways to display subnet
mask. “32” stands for 255.255.255.255 and “16”
stands for 225.255.0.0.
Select valid user. Only ftpuser can access FTP
share directory if you do not select a valid user.
Note
For the FTP function, the user ftpuser has super
user function. It can manage all directories and
files the ftp user created. Other users do not
have this function; they can only manage their
own created directories and files.
It is to create various share modes for the user.
