3.7 NAS Management
3.7.1 Share configuration
The share interface is to display SAMBA, NFS, FTP, AFP and HTTP share information. Here you
can also add, edit or delete share directory.
Please refer to the following sheet for detailed information.
SAMBA is to provide share service for Windows
user.
NFS is to provide share service for Linux user.
FTP is to provide share service for both Windows
and Linux users.
It is to provide share service for Apple users.
It is to provide share service for http users.
Note
If share status is disabled, it is not in share mode.
3.7.1.1 Add share directory
Important
Before you add a share directory, please create a logic volume or thin LV first.
The dual-controller host series product does not support AFP/HTTP share mode and
various share modes.
