The Heating Set-Up menu provides a summary of the control
parameters for non-heat pump units with heating or heat pump
units with supplemental heating. The unit’s heating mode of
operation is controlled by the control temperature and the
heating set point temperature. The unit goes into the heating
mode of operation by analyzing the control temperature.
The control temperature can be return temperature, space
temperature or outside air temperature. The unit goes into the
heating mode of operation when the control temperature is
below the heating set point by more than ½ the deadband.
