Connecting the Horn Start System
• Connect the lane speaker cable into the LANE SPEAKERS jack on the HS-200. If an
auxiliary speaker is used, connect the cable from the desired speaker location to the
AUX SPEAKER jack on the HS-200.
• Connect the 30’ (9.1 m) start cable between the START (normally open) jack on the
HS-200 and the J12 START INPUT jack on the rear of the OmniSport 2000.
• If using the HS-200 with an Omega
®
timing console, connect the start cable from
the console to the N/C (normally closed) jack on the HS-200.
• If using the HS-200 with a Colorado Timing System (CTS) console, connect the start
cable from the console to the START (normally open) jack on the HS-200.
• For HS-200 units with a wired mic, connect the mic into the 4-pin jack labeled MIC.

Become familiar with all connections on the rear of the OmniSport 2000 timing console
as shown in Figure 23 and DWG-154282� Make all connections to the OmniSport 2000
console and attached equipment before turning on the POWER switch.
