6. IsolatecompressorpowerandwaitfortheBackplaneLEDstoturnoff.
7. DisconnectthecompressorInterfacecablefromtheJ6connectorontheCIM.
8. Applypowertothecompressor.

ThecableconnectionbetweentheBackplane(portJ7)andtheCIM(portJ6)isproperly
attached


ThecableconnectionbetweentheCIM(atportJ1ifusingRS485communicationoratportJ7
ifusingRS232communication)andtheuser’scomputerisproperlyattached


TheBMCCisproperlyconnectedtotheBackplane
5. IfallconnectionsareproperlyattachedandyoustillcannotconnecttothecompressorwiththeSMT,
confirmcomputerserialport,thenusetheSearchfunctionintheCompressorConnectionManagerto
determinethecorrectbaudrateandslaveaddressofthecompressor.RefertotheServiceMonitoring
