27-16 Runtime Balancing
Set the priority of each pump for balancing its running hours.
Pumps with the same priority are staged/destaged based on the
running hours.
Option: Function:
[0] * Balanced Priority 1 Turned on rst, turned o last.
[1] Balanced Priority 2 Turned on if no priority 1
pumps are available. Turned
o before priority 1 pumps are
turned o.

Select the type of the mains starter for the xed
speed pumps. All xed speed pumps must have
the same starter type.

This option adds a delay when staging and
destaging pumps. The delay is dened in
parameter 27-41 Ramp Down Delay and
parameter 27-42 Ramp Up Delay.

This option adds a delay when staging pumps.
The delay is dened in parameter 27-42 Ramp Up
Delay.
27-18 Spin Time for Unused Pumps

Enter the time to spin unused pumps. If a
xed speed pump has not run in the last
72 hours, it is turned on for this time. This
function prevents the damage caused by
leaving the pump o for too long. To
disable the function, set the value of this
parameter to 0.
CAUTION
Ensure that the value in this parameter does not cause
overpressure in the system.
27-19 Reset Current Runtime Hours
Select option [1] Do reset to reset all current run-time hours to 0.
The run-time hours value is used for run-time balancing.

value is a percentage of parameter 21-12 Ext. 1
Maximum Reference. The system must be
outside the normal operating range for the
time specied in parameter 27-23 Staging Delay
or parameter 27-24 Destaging Delay before a
cascade operation takes place. Normal
operation is operation with at least one
variable speed pump available.

27-21 Override Limit

before a pump is added or removed immediately
(for instance, if there was a sudden water
demand). The value is the percentage of
parameter 21-12 Ext. 1 Maximum Reference. This
parameter allows responding to sudden changes
in demand without a delay. The override
functionality can be disabled by setting this
parameter to 100%.
