Encryption
Encrypted RealPort offers encryption for the Ethernet connection between the COM/TTYport and the
Digi Connect and ConnectPort TSFamily product. Encryption preventsinternal and external snooping
of data acrossthe network by encapsulating the TCP/IPpackets in an SSL connection and encrypting
the data using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) security algorithm.
