Wi-Fi LAN Statistics

Status: The current statusof the wirelessDigi device, which may include:
l
Not Connected: not associated or connected w/ any accesspoint, perhapsbecause the
wirelessdevice hasnot fully initialized, isout of range, or the wirelessinterface is
disconnected because the Ethernet interface isenabled.
l
Searching for Network: searching for awirelessnetwork or accesspoint for connection.
l
Associated with Network: successfully associated with the network w/ theproper
network settingsand encryption.
l
Authenticated with Network: successfully authenticated a user name and password with
the network when WPAis enabled.
l
Joined Ad Hoc Network: successfully connected to and joined an ad-hoc network.
l
Started Ad Hoc Network: successfully created, started, and joined an ad-hoc network.

Network Name: The name of the wirelessnetwork to which the Digi device isconnected.
n
Network ID: TheIDof the wirelessnetwork to which the Digi device isconnected and
communicating.
n
Channel: Thefrequency channel that the wirelessLAN radio usesfor the Digi device.
n
Transmit Rate: The current transmission rate for the wirelessLAN radio.
n
Signal Strength: The current receive signal strength asreported by the wirelessLAN radio.
Ranges are from 0 to 100.
Remote Manager status
Usethe Remote Manager status section to view the connection statusfor the Remote Manager
service.
Diagnostics
Usethe ping utility on theDiagnosticspage to determine whether the Digi device can access remote
devices over the network. Type the host name of theremote device you want to access, and click
Ping.
Activate the Find Me LED
For Digi Connect ESproducts, use the Find Me LEDto aid in finding a specific Digi device server among
a group of devices. The locator LEDisshown on Digi Connect 48 SBand Digi Connect 4/8 SB with
switch.

Activate: Click thisbutton to activate the Find Me locator LED. The Find Me locator LED starts
blinking.

Stop: Click thisbutton to deactivate the Find Me locator LED. The Find Me locator LED stops
blinking.
Reboot
Changesto some device settingsrequire saving the changes and rebooting the Digi Connect and
ConnectPort TSFamily. Use the Reboot page to reboot the Digi Connect and ConnectPort TSFamily.
