Enable Fast Disconnect Detection - This option enables a two-way keep-alive packets between the IP
Endpoint and the Sever. With this option enabled, both the IP Endpoint and Server will ensure that
keep-alives are being received in a timely manner. If a keep-alive fails to arrive on time (Keep-Alive time

endpoint's Microphone is switched on. The tone is repeated based on the frequency specified below.
Consult local laws governing the recording of audio conversations to determine if this option must
be checked!
Enable Recording Warning - Check this option to enable the recording warnings.
For - Enter the duration of the recording tone in 100 millisecond increments from 100 to 500
milliseconds (1/10 to 1/2 second). The longer the duration, the louder the tone will sound. If the
tone causes the Sound Level meter to spike, use the lowest setting for this value.
Every - Enter how often the recording tone should be repeated. The frequency of the recording
warning can be specified in 15 second increments from 15 seconds to 300 seconds .
Associated Video Source - Select an IP Camera from the drop down list that will be associated with
this IP Endpoint. The cameras must be defined as described in the IP Video Sources topic.
PTT Disabled - Check this option to disable the TALK connector on an IP Endpoint. This option is
rarely used.
Don't Create Call Queue Entries - Check this option if using this IP Endpoint's TALK connector in
conjunction with the TalkMaster FOCUS Event Management Software. By checking this option (as well

but will not generate a call that must be answered by an operator.

The Config sub-tab of the WiFi tab is used to specify the SSID and Passphrase used to connect to the
wireless network. If an IP Endpoint does not have a wireless adapter, this tab is not enabled.
