Calibration
Pressure Transducer
The offset, slope, and date of the last calibration are
displayed.
The Measured field is in the slope calibration. See
Section 5.1.1
for instructions.
The Calibrate Offset and Calibrate Slope buttons
are used to calibrate the pressure transducer. See
Section 5.1.1
for instructions.
Conductivity Cell
The offset, slope, and date of the last DS5 calibration
are displayed.
The Calibrate Offset or Calibrate Slope buttons are
used to calibrate the cell. See Section 5.1.2
for
calibration instructions.
Click the Details button to open a window that shows the
factory-set calibration values, the current values, and the
previous set of calibration values. The factory and last set of
calibration values can be downloaded from this window.
Diagnostic
The last calibrated pressure and conductivity variance,
minimum, and maximum readings for the DS5 are
displayed.
The Start and Stop buttons start and stop the readings.
To determine the conductivity variance of the electronics
alone, select the Dummy Cell box and then click Start. The
variance reading should be less than 1
µS.
