How to fix vertical white lines on DuraLabel Printer?
    • C
      Cheryl LopezAug 22, 2025
If vertical white lines appear on your DuraLabel Printer's printed pages, it could be due to a few reasons. The LED head might be dirty, so try wiping it with a soft, lint-free cloth. Alternatively, the toner could be low; open the top cover and gently tap the cartridge to redistribute the remaining toner, and if the issue continues, replace the toner cartridge. Foreign materials in the image drum or a dirty light-shielding film on the image drum cartridge could also be the cause. In these cases, replace the image drum cartridge or wipe the film with a soft, lint-free cloth.

If the glossiness is not uniform when printing with your DuraLabel Printer, the thickness and type of the paper may be incorrectly set. Try setting the correct value of media type in the Advanced Options - Media Type menu or set one value lighter for media type.

What causes horizontal lines on DuraLabel Printer?
    • A
      Andrew BranchAug 31, 2025
If you see horizontal lines and spots appearing periodically on your DuraLabel Printer, the cause depends on the interval between them. If the interval is about 4 inches, the image drum might be damaged or dirty; try wiping it lightly with a soft cloth, and replace it if damaged. If the interval is about 1.2 inches, there might be foreign particles in the image drum cartridge; try opening and closing the top cover and printing again. If the interval is about 86mm (3.4in), the fuser unit may be damaged and should be replaced. If the image drum cartridge has been exposed to light, replace it if the problem persists.

Why does DuraLabel Printer produce partially faded images?
    • R
      Richard GoodmanAug 29, 2025
If you're noticing partially faded images or white spots and lines in solid prints from your DuraLabel Printer, this may be because the paper is either too moist or too dry. Using paper stored in proper temperature and humidity conditions should help resolve this issue.

Why is the white area of paper lightly stained by my DuraLabel Printer?
    • D
      Dawn VelasquezAug 28, 2025
If the white area of paper is lightly stained when printing with your DuraLabel Printer, the paper may contain static. Using paper stored in proper temperature and humidity conditions may resolve this. The paper could also be too thick, so try using thinner paper. Also, low toner can cause staining, so open the top cover and tap the cartridge a few times to evenly distribute any remaining toner. If the problem persists, replace the toner cartridge.

Why does my DuraLabel Printer print vertical lines?
    • J
      jameswardAug 27, 2025
If vertical lines appear when printing with your DuraLabel Printer, this could be caused by a damaged image drum cartridge, so you should replace it. It could also be caused by low toner, in which case you should open the top cover and tap the cartridge a few times to evenly distribute any remaining toner. If the problem persists, replace the toner cartridge.

What to do if printing is light on DuraLabel Printer?
    • N
      Nicholas DayAug 26, 2025
If the printing is light on your DuraLabel Printer, start by checking if the toner cartridge is properly seated and reinstall it if necessary. Low toner can also cause light printing; open the top cover and tap the cartridge to evenly distribute the toner, replacing it if the issue continues. Ensure that the paper isn't moist and is stored in proper conditions. Verify that the paper is suitable for the printer. Adjust the media type in the Advanced Options or select a thicker setting and avoid using recycled paper, setting one value thicker for media type in the Advanced Options - Media Type menu.

Why are printed images fading vertically on my DuraLabel Printer?
    • D
      Destiny NelsonAug 23, 2025
If your DuraLabel Printer's printed images are fading vertically, several factors could be responsible. A dirty LED head could be the culprit; try wiping it with a soft, lint-free cloth. Also, check your toner level. If the toner is low, open the top cover and tap the cartridge to redistribute it; if the problem persists, replace the toner cartridge. Finally, ensure you're using paper that is suitable for the printer.
