Communication address is used to set the [ADDR] value of communication frame. The printer
will give up this frame data if the [ADDR] value of communication frame is different from the
communication address setting in the printer. See “EC-JET Communication Protocol V3.1” for the
specific format of communication frame.
5.3.4. Verify Mode
To make sure no mistake on the communication data frame during transmission, it can use verify
mode in the communication frame to confirm the receiving data is correct.
Two communication frame verify mode supported by EC2000 printer:
⚫ CRC16 Mode
⚫ MOD256 Mode
See “EC-JET Communication Protocol V3.1” for specific algorithm of frame
verification.
It can set the verify mode to “None”, if it doesn’t need to verify.
5.3.5. Printer Transmit Signal
Print Trigger State, Print Go State, Print End State, Remote Buffer State,this four menus
represent four signals of four printer sending to remote host forwardly. Their respective meanings
are as follows:
Signal

Print Trigger State
Send this signal during trigger printing.
Print Go State
Send this signal when start printing.
Print End State
Send this signal when finish printing.
Remote Buffer State
Send this signal during number of remote buffer less than critical
value.

1 Continuous
2 Once
5.3.7. Printing Data
Empty
How the trigger printing manages when the buffer is empty. Three modes can be chosen as below:
1. Unprint
Ignore the printing signal.
2. Unprint and alarm
Ignore the printing signal and alarm.
3. Accidental shutdown
Stop printing and report the failure.
