How to Connect to the Console Port

The following table describes the pin assignments used in the RJ-45-to-DB-9
console cable.
The serial port’s configuration requirements are as follows:
◆ Default Baud rate—9600 bps
◆ Character Size—8 Characters
◆ Parity—None
◆ Stop bit—One
◆ Data bits—8
◆ Flow control—none

Follow these steps to connect to the Console port:
1. Attach the DB-9 end of the included RJ-45-to-DB-9 serial cable to a DB-9 COM
port connector on a management PC.
