MLD Snooping

◆ When set to “router-port,” any received IPv6 multicast packets that have not
been requested by a host are forwarded to ports that are connected to a
detected multicast router.
Example
Console(config)#ipv6 mld snooping unknown-multicast mode flood

ipv6 mld snooping
version
This command configures the MLD snooping version. Use the no form to restore
the default.
Syntax
ipv6 mld snooping version {1 | 2}
1 - MLD version 1.
2 - MLD version 2.

ipv6 mld snooping
vlan immediate-leave
This command immediately deletes a member port of an IPv6 multicast service
when a leave packet is received at that port and immediate-leave is enabled for the
parent VLAN. Use the no form to restore the default.
Syntax
[no] ipv6 mld snooping vlan vlan-id immediate-leave
vlan-id - A VLAN identification number. (Range: 1-4094)
