3.1.1 The front Display
The Flatpack MCU Alarm Module incorporates a dot matrix display (16x2) with background illumination.
The system display can be in either status mode or menu mode
3.1.2 Status Mode
When the keypad is not in operation, the display is in Status Mode. The following information is then
scrolled through the display:
The upper line continuously displays the battery voltage.
The lower line continuously scrolls the following information:
• Battery Current
• Load Current
• Active alarms
• Other messages
3.1.3 Menu Mode
When the keypad is in operation, the system display switches to Menu Mode and the following information
is scrolled through the display:
• The upper line shows the name of the active menu or sub-menu.
• The lower line indicates which key to press.
If the keypad is not used for 30 seconds, the display will switch from Menu Mode to Status Mode.
3.2 Control Keys
Operation from the Alarm Module’s keypad is based on first using the arrow keys to find and highlight the
actual menu option on the display and then selecting the option or parameter by pressing the «
↵
» key.
