* Note that the shunt voltage drop is dependant on specific shunt type. 60mV shunts are typically used, although 50mV
shunts may be used in some cases. If in doubt, inspect the shunt body for the actual rating markings.
It is also acceptable to directly measure the current with a calibrated clamp-on DC ammeter or other device, rather than
calculating the current using the shunt resistance and measured voltage drop.
Enter the calculated or measured current for the Low CalibrationPoint in Amps
Select Accept
Ensure that you have a stable load current of approx. 30-60 % of the rated shunt current and turn the rectifiers off
Measure the voltage over the battery shunt and calculate the current
Enter the calculated or measured current for the High CalibrationPoint in Amps
Select Accept
Click OK to exit the calibration menu, if done.
4.11.3 Exit Installation Settings
If the settings in the Installation settings menu have been changed, the following screen will appear when
exiting the menu:
In order to permanently retain any new settings in Flatpack MCU memory (after the unit is powered down
or removed from the system), this software reset must be executed.
Notes:
A Software Reset causes the contactors to change state, which could cause load supply interruption.
A Software Reset may cause the rectifier output voltage to be reduced for 5-10 seconds, while the MCU
reboots. The batteries will supply the load during this time.
If a LVD service switch is present, it should be in the SERVICE position to avoid disconnection before
executing software reset.
Turn the service switch back to NORMAL when the output voltage has stabilised.
9 NOTE: Never perform a software reset on a commissioned system, unless the consequences have been
fully analysed
