The SCALE_OUT parameter is a structured parameter consisting of four elements.
EU_100
• "Pressure" measuring mode; "Level" measuring mode, "Linear" level mode: enter upper
limit for the output value of the Transducer Block.
Factory setting: 100
• "Level" measuring mode, "Pressure linearized" or "Height linearized" level mode:
Enter the maximum tank contents to be expected.
The input limits for the subsequent calibration (editing limits) are derived from the value
entered. The closer the value entered corresponds to the maximum tank content to be
expected, the more accurate the measurement result.
Factory setting: 100
• "Flow" measuring mode: enter maximum flow of primary device.
See also layout sheet of primary device. The maximum flow is assigned to the maximum
pressure which you enter by means of the SCALE_IN parameter, EU_100 element.
Factory setting: 1.0
EU_0
• "Pressure" measuring mode; "Level" measuring mode, "Linear" level mode; "Flow"
measuring mode: enter lower limit for the output value of the Transducer Block.
• "Level" measuring mode, "Pressure linearized" or "Height linearized" level mode:
Enter the minimum tank contents to be expected.
The input limits for the calibration (editing limits) are derived from the value entered. The
closer the value entered corresponds to the minimum tank content to be expected, the
more accurate the measurement result.

UNITS_INDEX
• Select the unit for output scaling.
DECIMAL
• Enter the number of places after the decimal point.

Note!
Make sure that the unit selected by means of the SCALE_OUT parameter, "Units Index"
element, matches the measured variable. → See also parameter description for
PRIMARY_VALUE_TYPE (Page 33) and LINEARIZATION (Page 36).

Enter damping time (time constant τ).
The damping affects the speed at which all subsequent elements, such as the on-site display,
measured value (primary value) and output value of the Analog Input Block react to a change
in the pressure.

Displays the total flow value of totalizer 1. You can reset the value by means of the
TOTALIZER_1_RESET/RESET TOTALIZER 1 parameter (→ Page 59) in the Totalizer
Transducer Block.
