9.6 Installation / removal of sensor W “Insertion”
The active part of the flowrate measuring sensor W “Insertion” can be replaced without
interrupting the process.
1. Pull the sensor connector (1) out of the sensor cover (3).
2. Remove the small retainer ring (2). This is located on the top of the sensor neck and
keeps the sensor cover in place.
3. Remove the sensor cover (3) and spring (4).
4. Remove the large retainer ring (5). This keeps the sensor neck (6) in place.
5. The sensor neck can now be pulled out. Note that you must reckon with a certain
amount of resistance.
6. Pull the sensor element (7) out of the sensor holder (8) and replace it with a new
one.
7. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
