PoE (Power over Ethernet) Support
TheB5PoE‐capablemodels(B5G124‐24P2,B5G124‐48P2,B5K125‐24P2,andB5K125‐48P2)are
IEEE802.3afand802.3atcompliant,whichmeanstheycanprovidepoweroverEthernet(PoE)
cableconnectionsfromtheirRJ45connectorstoPDsinthenetwork.
PoE,definedinIEEEstandards802.3afand802.3at,referstothe

•Securitycameras
•Virtualdesktops

Note: Use only the black high-speed stacking cables with B5 switches. Do not use the stacking
cables that were designed for use with other B-Series devices.
