About This Guide
This guide describes how to install the Enterasys
®
I-Series Industrial Ethernet Switch in a
standard 19-inch equipment rack or in an industrial cabinet using a DIN rail. This guide also
explains how to interpret the system status LEDs to facilitate troubleshooting when necessary, and
also provides information on how to contact Enterasys Networks for additional help.
Who Should Use This Guide
This guide is intended for a network administrator responsible for installing and setting up the
I-Series switch.
How to Use This Guide
Read through this guide completely to familiarize yourself with its contents and to gain an
understanding of the features and capabilities of the I-Series Industrial Ethernet Switch. A general
