3-4 Troubleshooting
Memory Card LEDs
The I3H-4FXM-MEM and I3H-6 TX-MEM IOMs provide a memory card slot where a small,
separately-purchased memory card (I3H-MEM) may be inserted. Use the memory card LEDs,
shown in Figure 3-3 and described in Table 3-5, to determine the activity and power states before
removing an installed memory card.

LED Display Status
Link (green) On Link established.
Off Not powered, link not established, or port is disabled.
Activity (amber) Off No activity.
Blinking Activity over link.
1 Memory card power LED (PWR) 2 Memory card activity LED (ACT)

LED Display Status
Power (PWR) Solid green Power is applied to slot. Do not remove card.
Off Power is not applied to slot, card may be removed.
Activity (ACT) Blinking red Card is being accessed. Do not remove.
Off Card is idle and may be removed.
