1.4 STANDARDS COMPATIBILITY
The 1G694-13 is fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3, 802.3ad, 802.3ae, 802.3u, 802.3x, 802.1D,
and 802.1Q standards. The switch provides IEEE 802.1D Spanning Tree Algorithm (STA) support
to enhance the overall reliability of the network and protect against “loop” conditions.
A full suite of Enterasys Networks Enterprise MIBs provide a wide array of statistical information
to enhance troubleshooting. For information on how to extract and compile individual MIBs,
contact Enterasys Networks (refer to Section 1.6 about getting help).
1.5 LANVIEW DIAGNOSTIC LEDs
LANVIEW diagnostic LEDs serve as an important troubleshooting aid by providing an easy way
to observe the status of individual ports and overall network operations.
