A.3 INPUT/OUTPUT SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE 10GBASE-LR
The ZPIM1-06 option slot supports XENPAK 10-Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) standard (802.3ae)
interface plug-in modules. These modules are hot swappable. Table A-4 through Table A-6 provide
the specifications for the 10GBASE-LR module, which is the only module available as of the
printing of this manual.
Warning: The 10GBASE-LR uses Class 1 lasers. Do not use optical instruments to view the laser
output. The use of optical instruments to view laser output increases eye hazard. When viewing
the output optical port, power must be removed from the network adapter.
