3.7 TABLETOP OR SHELF INSTALLATION
To install the switch on a tabletop or shelf, proceed as follows:
1. Place the switch upside down on a clean flat surface.
2. Locate the four self-stick rubber pads shipped with your switch, then affix one near each corner
of the switch. The rubber pads serve as rubber feet to protect the surface of the table or shelf.
They also help prevent the switch from sliding out of place on the flat surface.
3. Locate the switch within seven feet of its power source and on an unrestricted free surface area
as shown in Figure 3-5. Proceed to Section 3.8.1 for power connection instructions.

Caution: To ensure proper ventilation and prevent overheating, leave a minimum clearance space
of 5.1 cm (2.0 in.) at the left, right, and rear of the switch.
