Remove the printer mechanism from
the lower case.

Remove the ribbon cartridge.

Move the head lock levers to the outside.
Shift the
printhead slightly toward the platen side ( 1 ) pull it upward, (2) slide it to the right, and
(3) remove from the carriage.
