Is there a noise problem? Check the following for defects:
Intake fan and exhaust fan on the power supply unit.
Power supply unit (vibration noise from the pulse transformer)
Check the following for defects:
Thermistor (LV/PBS/Lamp)
Exhaust fan, intake fan
Air filter frame (dirt)
Check the following for defects:
Optical engine (May be caused by dirt on the light guide unit, projector
lens unit, and light valves on the optical head unit.)
Check the following for defects:
AC input (including power line transit or distortion)
Power supply unit
Main board
Cable connection (failure to make connection)
Operating environment (temperature, condensation)
The problem may be static electricity. Check that power cords to the PowerLite
5000 and input devices are grounded properly.
